Microsoft、『Surface Pro 3』を世界市場で正式発表。12インチディスプレイで解像度2160×1440ピクセル液晶搭載、厚さ9.1㎜、重量800gの新型Windows 8.1タブレット

Microsoftは北米時間2014年5月20日、Windows8.1搭載タブレットの新製品『Surface Pro 3』を世界市場で正式に発表しました。この新型Windows 8.1タブレットの大きな特徴は、12インチディスプレイに解像度2160×1440ピクセルの液晶パネルを採用したことです。ちなみに、「Surface Pro 2」は10.6インチディスプレイ、解像度1920×1080ピクセル液晶パネル採用、単純に解像度は1.5倍になった計算になります。また、厚さは9.1㎜、重量は800gの軽量となっています。北米市場（発売日は6月20日予定）での価格は799ドルからで、日本でも8月末までには発売される予定です。
